Returns Policy

Buyers are given 14 days cooling off period in which time they can return any piece of artwork which has been purchased.

The 14 days commences on the day the buyer receives the item. It is advisable to retain the original packaging until you have inspected the artwork and decided to keep it.

The 14 days is in exception to the Consumer Protection Distance Selling Regulations 2000 which is only 7 days. Postage will be paid by the buyer who has only viewed the product and returned it in a condition as good as it was received and suitable for it's resale.

I would appreciate it if you could email me as soon as you decide you would like a refund, stating your reason.

Returned goods should be wrapped securely in the same or similar packaging as they were received in. They should be sent via signed for delivery and insured up to their value.

Digital downloads are an exception to the rule and are non returnable.- Refunds may be offered only if they are shown to be of very poor quality. The following link is of the distance selling regulations.

In the unlikely event that goods are returned because they are faulty, or damaged in transit then My Art Images will refund reasonable costs for the return of the item to us on receiving your postal receipt. You will need to use the original packaging as My Art Images will not refund any money spent on additional packaging.

Postage is not refundable if an item is returned and not faulty, otherwise a suitable arrangement will be made between buyer and seller.

Delivery

Works of art to be sent by "signed for" or courier delivery and insured to eliminate problems if the buyer does not receive the item.

You may find it more convenient to have your goods delivered to your work address .

Proof of postage alone will not usually be regarded as proof of receiving the item when resolving disputes.

An email from you,the buyer on receiving the item and accepting it would be appreciated.

It is usual to receive the painting/s within a week of ordering (unless the artwork is commissioned).

Please allow 28 days maximum UK (mainland and non mainland) and 42 days if overseas.

Commissioned artworks- As these are created specifically for the buyer, refunds do not have to be given. Artists are advised to take a non refundable deposit of at least 30% of the total charge prior to commencing the work, the cover the cost of materials and ensure client commitment.

Please allow drying time for the painting so it could take 3-4 months if painted in oil (especially red paint which is slow drying).

Acrylic paint takes only hours (maximum) drying time so can be posted very soon after painting.

In all cases I will liaise with you regarding progress of commissioned work.
